www.HillOnline.com Our Approach How We Do It

Needs Analysis

Designing powerful, effective programs means knowing the client's business inside and out.

In our first meetings with our clients, we begin to create a framework for the task at hand. We ask questions and we listen. We like for our clients to do most of the talking.

Communication Study

Once we have an idea of the scope of the project, we start talking to the client's employees, customers, vendors and competitors to get their impressions of the company or the product. We review the company's mission, identity, brand strategy, markets, reputation and customer satisfaction. We dig in and get a comprehensive idea of the current status of the client's brand and communication program.

Design Solutions

As we begin to put some flesh on the bones of the project, images start to take shape. We begin to test some initial impressions and to design possible solutions.

We like to engage our clients in the process by putting our ideas on paper in rough form and letting them give us early feedback to make sure we are on the right track.

We also develop a detailed budget and a schedule for the completion of the project.

Production

When a design direction has been established, the Hill team begins pulling the pieces of the program together—in words, in pictures and in graphics.

Developing an array of materials in a variety of mediums with thought and discipline allows our clients to build on their identity, reach their target markets and enhance their opportunity for a successful product launch.

Implementation

Executing well is as important as developing creative ideas. In the words of the famous architect Mies van der Rohe, "God is in the details."

Our team sees the project through from beginning to end, making sure that a carefully orchestrated program is delivered on time and on budget. We work with venders we trust to deliver excellent quality at a fair price.
